Terms of Use

Smart Commands for Alexa · Nice Express · Effective October 5, 2026

These terms apply to the Smart Commands for Alexa app for iPhone and iPad, its widget and Siri shortcut (the “App”), published by Nice Express. By using the App you accept them. They complete Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”), which also applies.

1. An independent guide

The App is an independent guide to using Amazon Alexa: voice commands that your iPhone or iPad can say to your Echo, setup and troubleshooting guides, light ring colors, routine ideas and voice translation. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Amazon, and it does not control your Alexa devices or connect to your Amazon account. Amazon, Alexa, Echo, Fire TV, Ring and all related marks are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Other names belong to their owners.

2. Information in the App

Commands and guides are compiled from public information, mainly Amazon's help pages. Alexa features differ by country, language, device, Alexa version (including Alexa+) and over time, and some need a compatible device, a linked service or a subscription. We work to keep the content accurate but cannot guarantee that every command or step works for you. Translations are produced automatically and may contain mistakes.

3. Premium

4. Ads

The free version shows ads provided by third parties, as described in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the sites they lead to.

5. Acceptable use

Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes and in line with the law. Do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse the App or its content, except as the law allows.

6. Third-party services

Some features rely on services from Apple (App Store, speech recognition, translation), Google (fallback translation, AdMob), Meta and TradPlus. Their terms and privacy policies apply to them, and they may change or stop independently of us.

7. No warranty

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nice Express is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the App, Alexa devices or third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

9. Apple

These terms are between you and Nice Express, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them, as stated in the Apple EULA.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the new terms.
